Policy / information handling

Privacy Policy

A clear baseline for how the Outpost handles information shared through the site, orders, and procurement channels.

Baseline notice

This is a concise operating baseline and may be expanded as the Outpost grows. Questions or support requests route to support@disgruntledhq.com.

01

Information we receive

We receive information you choose to provide when you place an order, contact support, submit an RFQ, or use a site form. This can include your name, contact details, organization, and message.

02

How it is used

We use that information to process requests, deliver orders, respond to questions, improve the site, and keep records needed to operate the business. We do not sell personal information.

Home Front Transit recruitment interest forms route through careers@homefronttransit.com and are reviewed by humans during planning. Applicants should not send sensitive identity, medical, or clearance documents through site forms; full compliance documents are requested only in later controlled steps.

03

Transition / MOS Translator

Transition submissions include the approved text fields for contact email, branch, MOS/AFSC/rating, target civilian career, and evaluation or NCOER bullets. They may also include one optional redacted PDF, DOCX, or TXT attachment. Do not submit SSN, DoD ID, DOB, home address, personal phone, or unredacted sensitive personnel records.

After the owner configures the dedicated intake service, the submission is processed into an owner-controlled private Google Drive folder and a limited Google Sheet record, and the review notice is emailed to support@disgruntledhq.com for manual owner review. The purpose is limited to translating military experience and related resume assistance. No permanent website-side archive is created, and the website does not expose a public Drive link.

Drive access is private and owner-controlled; a Drive URL requires authorized owner or approved Drive access. The target is deletion 30 days after a submission is marked Completed, handled by the configured cleanup or manual process. This retention action is not represented as automatic until the owner deploys and tests it.

04

Service providers

Trusted commerce, hosting, payment, analytics, email delivery, and owner-configured Google Drive/Sheets processing providers may process information as needed to provide their services. They receive only the approved information required for the request. Forms, orders, and RFQs are used to process the request or transaction.

05

PostHog analytics

We use PostHog as an analytics service provider to understand site usage, improve the storefront, and measure marketing and content performance. PostHog may receive usage information such as page visits and interactions, device and browser information, referrer information, and campaign or UTM information. Approximate geographic information, such as country or region, may be derived. Cookies, local storage, or similar browser technologies may be used where applicable to the analytics configuration. Analytics are intended to remain anonymous; we do not currently use PostHog identify() to build identified customer profiles. Session recording is not currently used.

Disgruntled Outpost does not intentionally send form contents, payment information, government identifiers, ID.me identity data, or uploaded-file contents to PostHog. Input and form-value masking is configured in the site analytics loader. Retention is configured at the analytics provider; the company targets a moderate retention period, approximately 12 months, as a business objective pending provider configuration.
